Dozen Photo Challenge Comment

Wow, Sammie, I have no words... This is stunning! (My boyfriend said it looks like a professional stock image!). Initially, I was amazed by this image because of how flighty and fast hummingbirds are. Bird photography in general is quite amazing, considering how difficult they can be. Catching the hummingbird mid-hover while feeding is such a rare sight, and your ability to capture that is astounding. I also love the depth of field, with the soft background and light in the center, accentuating the hummingbird in the center. This image gives the feeling of calmness and hope in a way. The bright green and pink look beautiful together, and on the darker green background, makes the subject pop. The only thing I would critique is the number of pink flowers. I think if it were just the one pink flower that the hummingbird was feeding on, it would make the subject pop even more and draw more attention straight to the center. Overall, I love this image so much and can't wait to see your future work!
