Critiquing Photography Challenge

I believe this is my most successful image from the critiquing photography challenge, as the blank white background with the deep red makes the image pop. This draws the viewer in as the colors immediately grab attention. Not only that, but it is also a good example of basic product photography; just showing the viewer a product, which is a good example of descriptive photography.
As for the composition, I believe this image works very well as the can is positioned directly in the center of the camera, with the can slightly turned to see the full logo, and the pull-tab in view. I do believe some improvement could be made with the amount of negative space above the can compared to below the can. If I were to retake this image, I would have the can more centered vertically, with equal amount of negative space on each side of the can.
As for the focus, I think the image works great! The iconic "Dr Pepper" logo is completely in focus, immediately drawing your eyes to the product name, and makes everything look crisp.
Finally, as for the exposure/saturation, I believe the image is very successful. The red is deep without looking too blown-out, and you can clearly see the metal detail in the can. The white background also provides a very sterile vibe to the image, which works well to give it the same energy as a commercial.
While I still believe this image is my most successful, I would change a few things. First, the negative space on each side of the can that I mentioned previously. Next, I would have a bit more dramatic lighting. I think deeper shadows would make the can pop even more and separate the can off the background.
